Fatal Distractions: Conquering Destructive Temptations by Kay Arthur, David & BJ Lawson is a 6 week long study guide written for a group study situation. Each week focuses on a sin that is one commonly performed in our daily lives. These sins include pride, anger, jealousy, gluttony, slothfulness and greed.

Each chapter includes scripture as well as real-life examples of people who have committed the sin so that the reader or group can apply it to their own lives and discuss other ways of responding to the problem instead of sinning. You will also learn what the bible recommends that you do to overcome these distractions.

As for the book itself, I did not like how the pages were laid out. Each page has two columns which I found to be... distracting, oddly enough. I think a different formatting of this book would have made it much easier to read.

Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book from Waterbrook Press in exchange for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion here is entirely my own.
