This book was not only intriguing, it was original. I loved the romance aspect between Melaia and Trevin. I loved the many characters. The humans, the angels, the half human - half angels. I loved that the book was all about Trevin finding himself. Trevin was in love with Melaia, worried about his brother, longing for the King's acceptance... but all the while... riddled with guilt over a past he had no control over. All the while... he just had to find a way to forgive himself and move on.

Not only does the book revolve around Trevin's inner turmoil and his relationships... it is also action packed and dramatic. With Immortals fighting Immortals. Trevin fighting the evil Dregmoorian Prince to save Melaia. Wild dogs, wolves, and more... this book was not easy to put down. It was extremely well-written and a real page turner. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. You will not be disappointed.
